Cars and coffee Sept 2017 University of Western Australia The weather was brilliant as was the turnout.
There were a lot of cars there; moderns, classics, vintage, you name it. A lot that I had never seen before, including Lambo’s, Ferrari’s, lots of Porsches… and even the odd Jensen. My favourite was a Datsun 1200.
Here’s a few pics, this is but a sample of what was there.
Classic Car Show Ascot Racecourse 2017
A new venue saw a pretty different and very successful change; intermingling among the grandstands were some mega cars.
Annual General Meeting The Jensen Motor Association of WA Annual General Meeting was held on 28 May 2017 at the Mack Mansion in Stanley St, Nedlands. The gathering was reasonably well attended, and with four Jensens and one Rolls-Royce making appearances.
The weather was wonderful as was lunch, after which the real business began. After motions with and without notice from the floor, tearful confessions as to the win/loss ratio of club funds at various ‘establishments’, arguments between Distinguished Members, minimal debate and what might almost be considered to be unseemly haste before minds could be changed, Peter Mack was re-elected as our esteemed President without opposition.
Andrew Partington was elected Secretary after Colin Jenkinson’s distinguished service, and a small committee comprising Peter, Andrew, Chris Liversage and Wayne Cooper co-opted into being.
